Funding Options

We accept a variety of funding options to provide your child with childcare. The government has various schemes in order to help parents, careers and working families.

If you need some help just give the nursery a call and we can certainly help.

Vouchers

Employers may provide Childcare Vouchers either as an additional benefit to your salary or through a “salary sacrifice” arrangement more typically. In a salary sacrifice scheme, you agree to forgo a portion of your salary in exchange for an equivalent value in childcare vouchers. As a result, your taxable income and National Insurance Contributions (NIC) are calculated based on this reduced salary amount, allowing you to utilize your pre-tax and NIC income for childcare expenses. The voucher amount you’re entitled to does not vary with the number of children you have; the cap remains consistent whether you have one child or several. These vouchers are not designated for individual children and come with an extended validity period.

Tax Free Childcare

Tax-Free Childcare Overview
Eligible families can receive up to £2,000 per child per year (or £500 every three months) to offset childcare expenses. This amount increases to £4,000 per year (or £1,000 every three months) for children with disabilities. When you opt for Tax-Free Childcare, you will create an online account for your child’s expenses. For each £8 deposited into this account, the government contributes an additional £2, which can be used to pay your childcare provider. Tax-Free Childcare can be accessed concurrently with 15 or 30 hours of free childcare, provided you meet the criteria for both programs. For more details on eligibility and to apply, visit [www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare](http://www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare).
